About Mike Myers

Mike is a full-time video producer, wedding filmmaker, photographer and has recently added podcaster to his resumé; owner of May Morning Studios and Caret Film Company.

Getting his feet wet in the wedding industry, Mike started filming videos in 2011 and hasn't looked back since. He still thoroughly enjoys filming weddings through his wedding brand, May Morning Studios, and has expanded his passion towards commercial and corporate work with Caret Film Co.

Above else Mike is passionate about two things. 1. Seeing his clients thrive because of what he has created - in marriage or a good sales year, and 2. Seeing other creatives and filmmakers not burn out, and truly step into their God-given gifts and talents and THRIVE.

Quotes

[37:20 - 37:34] "How are you spending your time? Are you like, you know, just like grinding, like just trying to knock off as many tasks as possible. Have you had a second to step back to breathe and to say like, what would be the most important thing for me to work on?"

[41:10 - 41:23] "I'm working less than a 40-hour week, but those hours are still flexible. And like, as I said, I'm, you know, got to go home to watch a kid while my wife takes one to the doctor, you know, just having that flexibility."

[40:23 - 40:45] "It's all about efficiency. And I think like two main things, that really helped me get to a better point of like, not always constantly working in, and it's not always easy for everyone to do, but really like looking at how you can, you know, we talk about it a lot, but like outsourcing and finding a virtual assistant was like the greatest."
